TEPCO adopts a "Distribution Automation System (DAS)" for distribution network system. Line switches set on distribution networks are to be controlled remotely from the sales office (control center) by DAS, therefore, distribution network system can be operated effectively and in case of fault occurrence, restoration power is immediately supplied to, healthy section, and away from the faulted section. If distribution network configuration is planned appropriately, distribution system reliability is definitely improved.
