For Corporate Viability and Growth
Facing an era of intense and sustained competition, TEPCO adopted a set of medium-term management policies called Management Vision 2010 as part of an effort to spark renewed development and growth.
Based on the Group Management Principle: "Contribute to the realization of affluent
living and a pleasant environment by offering optimal energy services," TEPCO
has established three Group Management Guidelines. TEPCO has also set five numerical
targets to be achieved by 2010 such as improving business efficiency, improving
its financial structure, growing operations, and contributing to the global environment.
Through the implementation of this action plan TEPCO seeks to increase its corporate value and establish a Group management system that is conducive to growth.
