We would like to make a correction to a part of charts of the attachment, 
"Detection of radioactive materials from the seawater near Fukushima 
Daiichi Nuclear Power Station (55th release)" (announced on May 17th). 
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and would like to 
correct as follows:

 -"Radioactivity density of Seawater around 3 km offshore of Onahama port 
  (Bq/L) (Lower layer)"
  With regard to the chart about the fluctuation of the radioactivity 
  density of lower part of seawater around 3 km offshore of Onahama port, 
  announced on May 17th, we mistakenly put the data of the upper part of 
  the same point.

 -"Radioactivity density of Seawater around 3 km offshore of Toyoma port 
  (Bq/L) (Lower layer)"
  With regard to the chart about the radioactivity density of lower part 
  of seawater around 3 km offshore of Toyoma port, announced on May 17th, 
  among all the data collected on May 9th, the data of cesium-134 was not 
  put by mistake
