Compensation Area of Eligibility to be expanded for Tourist Businesses Affected by Harmful Rumors
We sincerely apologize to residents residing near the power stations and 
the general public for the tremendous inconvenience and anxiety that has 
arisen on account of the accident at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power 
Station and Fukushima Daini Nuclear Power Station (the "Accident").

We have been paying indemnification to the afflicted in a fast and fair 
manner under the framework for Nuclear Damage Compensation including the 
Bill for Nuclear Damage Compensation Facilitation Corporation. A decision 
has now been made to expand the area of eligibility for those tourist 
businesses that were adversely affected by harmful rumors due to the 
Accident.

1. Newly Added Areas
Areas on the Pacific coast in Chiba Prefecture (Choshi City, Asahi City, 
Sosa City, Yokoshibahikari Town, Sammu City, Kujukuri Town, Oamishirasato 
Town, Shirako Town, Chosei Village, Ichinomiya Town, Isumi City, Onjuku 
Town, Katsuura City, Kamogawa City, Minamiboso City, Tateyama City)

2. How to Request Compensation
As of today, we are accepting "The Tourist Agents A" application forms. If 
you wish to receive this application by mail, please contact the "Fukushima 
Nuclear Compensation Call Center" shown below.
