Area Eligible for Compensation to be expanded for Tourist Businesses Affected by Harmful Rumors
 We sincerely apologize to the people living in the surrounding areas of 
the power station and broader society for the concern and anxiety that has 
arisen on account of the accident at Fukushima Daiichi and Daini Nuclear 
Power Station (the "Accident"). 
 
Currently we are making our utmost efforts to achieve fair and prompt 
payments of due compensation under the framework for Nuclear Damage 
Compensation including the Bill for Nuclear Damage Compensation Facilitation 
Corporation. A decision has now been made to expand the area of eligibility 
for those tourist businesses that were adversely affected by harmful rumors 
due to the Accident. 
 
1. Newly Added Eligible Corporations and Individuals 
Corporations and individual business owners who mainly manage tourist 
businesses in Yonezawa-city of Yamagata Prefecture. 
 
2. Applicable Period 
From March 11 2011 to May 31 2011 
 
3. Percentage of decrease in sales due to factors other than the Accident. 
Please be advised that the percentage of decrease in sales due to the 
factors other than the Accident is 20%. 
 
4. Schedule 
Details concerning application procedures will be separately announced.
