At around 10:35 AM on August 22, a worker dispatched from one of our cooperative companies was found unconscious in the rest area of the Welfare Building at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station. As a cardiopulmonary arrest was confirmed by a doctor, the worker was transported from Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station to Iwaki Kyoritsu Hospital at 11:34 AM.

Subsequent confirmation revealed that this person had not been exposed to radioactive materials. (Previously announced)

We received an announcement from the main contractor that he was pronounced dead by a doctor at 1:09pm on August 22.
We are extremely saddened by this precious loss of life and express our deepest sympathies to his family.
