This is follow-up information regarding the suspension of the Unit 3 spent fuel pool alternative cooling system which occurred on April 5. The facility has restarted operation at 5:20PM on the day and the water temperature as of 6:10PM was 15.2℃ (previously announced). (The temperature as of 2:00PM, when the system stopped, was 15.1℃.)

The temperature data after the incident are as follows.

11:00PM, April 5 15.5℃(Announced on April 6)
5:00AM, April 6 15.5℃ (Announced on April 6)
11:00AM, April 6 15.5℃
5:00PM, April 6 15.7℃
11:00PM, April 6 16.1℃
5:00AM April 7 16.3℃

*The slight increase of the temperature since 5:00PM, April 6 is due to the outside air temperature increase. We are assuming the cooling is steadily conducted.
