Fukushima Daiichi NPS Prompt Report (Jul 04, 2013)Oil Leakage from Construction Site of the Miscellaneous Solid Waste Incineration Building at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station (Follow-up Information)

This is a follow-up report on the statuses of the oil leakage found at the construction site of the Miscellaneous Solid Waste Incineration Building at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station at around 1:05 PM on July 4.

Around 1:38 PM, a TEPCO employee arrived at the site and the leakage was found to be spreading approx. 2m x approx. 1m x approx. 1m (thickness).

The water is leaking at a pace of 1 drop per approx. 10 seconds, and we have placed a bucket to receive the water droplet.

The incident was judged as "leakage of dangerous substances" by the fire department.

*"Miscellaneous Solid Waste Volume Reduction Treatment Building" has been corrected to "Miscellaneous Solid Waste Incineration Building". We apologize for the mistake. (Corrected on July 5, 2013)
