Fukushima Daiichi NPS Prompt Report 2013

Fukushima Daiichi NPS Prompt Report (Oct 07, 2013)The Suspension of the On-Site Power Supply Facilities (3B) at Fukushima Daiichi NPS (Follow-up Information 2)

This is follow-up information on the activation of "the bus voltage low alarm" and the suspension of the on-site power supply facilities (3B) at Fukushima Daiichi NPS, which was found at around 9:47 AM today (on October 7).

After investigation, we concluded that a TEPCO employee had mistakenly pressed the button which activated a breaker, when trying to check the data of the on-site power supply facilities M/C* (3B), and that it caused the activation of the initial power receiving breaker, and that it led to the power suspension.

Recovery operation was performed, and we have found no error since then.
The on-site power supply facilities M/C* (3B): Initial power receiving at 11:58AM
The on-site power supply facilities P/C* (3D): Initial power receiving at 12:07PM
The on-site power supply facilities P/C* (3B): Initial power receiving at 12:23PM

*P/C (power center: power panel) is located on the downstream side of M/C (metal clad: power panel), and the suspension of M/C (3B) was followed by the suspension of P/C (3B) and (3D).
