This is follow-up information on the water dropping from the flange part of the joint pipe (C5 tank side) between the C5 and C6 tanks at F area tank (on the north of Units 5 and 6).

At 12:48 AM today (on December 19, 2013), the flange part was tightened more, however, the amount of the water dropping remained the same.

We will transfer the water inside the tank, and conduct an inspection for the flange part etc.

The measurement results of the water in this system were as follows.
Cesium-134: 22Bq/L
Cesium-137: 97Bq/L
Cobalt-60: 18Bq/L
