We are announcing the status of major inspections and restoration works and nonconformances 
at TEPCO's Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Station after the Niigata-Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake. 

Inspection/Restoration Status

 ◇ Inspection and restoration completed between April 24th to April 30th, 2009 
    (Completed on the following date) 

   - Unit No.6 Turbine inspection (Low-pressure turbine restoration work of blades): 
       April 30th 

 ◇ Inspection and restoration to be commenced between May 1st to May 14th, 2009 
    (To be commenced on the following date) 

   - Unit No.3 Reactor recirculation piping preventive maintenance (Restoration of the piping
     cut-out parts): 
       May 11th 
   - Unit No.5 Seismic reinforcement works (Seismic reinforcement works such as pipe supports): 
       April 28th*
   - Unit No.6 Primary containment vessel closure: 
       May 11th 
   - Unit No.6 Turbine inspection (Restoration of casing, etc.): 
       May 1st 
   - Restoration and reinforcement work for the on-site and outside roads and slope, etc. 
     (Maintenance work of the slope in front of sub protection headquarter office):
