and nonconformances at TEPCO's Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Station 
after the Niigata-Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake. 

Inspection/ Restoration Status 

 ◇ Inspection and restoration completed between March 4 to March 10, 2011 
    (Completed on the following date) 

   - Unit 4 Seismic reinforcement works (Seismic reinforcement works for 
     the fuel handling machine): 
       March 4 

 ◇ Inspection and restoration to be commenced between March 11 to March 
    17, 2011
    (To be commenced on the following date) 

   - Unit 3 System functional test (Selected control rod insertion 
     inspection):

   - Unit 3 System functional test (Primary containment vessel leak-rate 
     inspection):

   - Unit 3 System functional test (Performance test for reactor building

 Based on the "Public Announcement Regarding Nonconformance Found in the 
 Inspection and Restoration Works Performed after the Niigata-Chuetsu-Oki 
 Earthquake," the Tokyo Electric Power Company, Incorporated (TEPCO) 
 provides this announcement containing incidents information reported from 
 March 3 to March 9, 2011.

   - Information on Nonconformances (those related to: the Chuetsu-Oki 
     Earthquake; Grades GI, GII, GIII; and non-graded) 
     (including nonconformances related to: the Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake; 
     Grades As, A, B, C, D; and non-graded) 

    * By close reexamination of past nonconformance incidents, 9 of them 
      are identified as not related to the Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake, and 2 
      of them are identified as related to the Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake, so 
      the total number of them has been corrected.
