This is follow-up information regarding the water leak from the underground reservoirs at Fukushima Daiichi NPS.
The results of sampling performed in the groundwater bypass investigation holes A, B and C (once a week) are as follows.
- Groundwater bypass investigation hole A
Sampling performed at 12:50 PM on April 11
Chloride concentration: 16ppm
Allβ+γdensity: Below the detection limit
- Groundwater bypass investigation hole B
Sampling performed at 3:05 PM on April 11
Chloride concentration: 9ppm
Allβ+γdensity: Below the detection limit
- Groundwater bypass investigation hole C
Sampling performed at 4:05 PM on April 11
Chloride concentration: 12ppm
Allβ+γdensity: Below the detection limit
