Press Release (Jul 31, 2013)Results of FY 2013 1st Quarter Safety Inspection and Safety Investigation of our Nuclear Power Stations Performed by the Nuclear Regulatory Agency

As a result of FY 2013 1st quarter safety inspection and the safety investigation (performed outside of the safety inspection period) by the Nuclear Regulatory Agency, a total of 3 technical specification non-conformances (2 at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station and 1 at Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Station) has been judged to be "monitoring required" items by the Nuclear Regulation Authority today.

In accordance with the safety inspection/investigation results, we will make efforts towards improved operation quality.
