We would like to announce that our organization will be changed (to be effected from September 1) as follows based on the "Summary of Fukushima Nuclear Accident and Nuclear Safety Reform Plan" announced on March 29, 2013.

1. Revision of the Nuclear Power & Plant Siting Division
We will strengthen coordination between the head office and the power stations, and will develop a system which addresses efforts to enhance safety and quality.

(1) Head office
The "Nuclear Power & Plant Siting Division" and the "Nuclear Quality & Safety Management Department" will be integrated into the newly established "Nuclear Safety & Supervisory Department". The organization will enhance control of safety and quality in the head office.

(2) Fukushima Daini Nuclear Power Station and Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Station
(a)The "Nuclear Safety Center" will be newly established for the purpose of implementing centralized safety & quality management at normal times while enhancing planning ability of safety measurements in case of emergency.
(b)The "Nuclear Planning Department" will be newly established for the purpose of unifying the planning and management functions of the power stations as a whole.

2. Revision of the internal audit organization regarding nuclear power
The "Internal Audit & Management of Quality & Safety Department" and the "Nuclear Quality Management Department" will be integrated in order to enhance quality and safety audits regarding nuclear power as we conduct cross-departmental audit on the basis of the knowledge acquired from the audit performed against each department.
