At 12:13 AM today (on October 24), we started the water transfer from the following dikes to the underground water storage tank No.4 (as a temporal storage tank), for the purpose of lowering the water level inside the dikes, as a preliminary countermeasure against the typhoon No.27.

We analyzed the water inside the dike at each tank area before the transfer, and the measurement results are as follows.

<H1 east area>
-Sampled at 9:30 PM on October 23
Cesium-134: Below the detection limit value (detection limit value: 14Bq/L)
Cesium-137: Below the detection limit value (detection limit value: 20Bq/L)
Sr-90: 40Bq/L

<H2 north area>
-Sampled at 9:10 PM on October 23
Cesium-134: Below the detection limit value (detection limit value: 14Bq/L)
Cesium-137: Below the detection limit value (detection limit value: 20Bq/L)
Sr-90: 110Bq/L

<H2 south area>
-Sampled at 9:00 PM on October 23
Cesium-134: Below the detection limit value (detection limit value: 14Bq/L)
Cesium-137: Below the detection limit value (detection limit value: 20Bq/L)
Sr-90: 970Bq/L

<H3 area>
-Sampled at 9:20 PM on October 23

*Emission standard:
- Cesium-134: Below 15Bq/L
- Cesium-137: Below 25Bq/L
- No other γ detection (excluding natural nuclide)
- Sr-90: Below 10Bq/L (by simplified measurement method)
- Other nuclide meeting the notification level (referring to water quality inside the tank)
