Fukushima Daiichi NPS Prompt Report 2013

Fukushima Daiichi NPS Prompt Report (Nov 26, 2013)Operation of a Leakage Detector for a Seawater Pipe Trench Purification System on the Sea-side of Unit 3 Turbine Building in Fukushima Daiichi NPS (Follow-up Information)

This is follow-up information on operation of a leakage detector for a seawater pipe trench purification system on the sea-side of Unit 3 turbine building.

As a result of a sampling, the water was below the detection limit value. Therefore, we determined that the water found in the detection box was rainwater.

*Cesium-134: Below the detection limit value (the detection limit value: 430Bq/L)
Cesium-137: Below the detection limit value (the detection limit value: 650Bq/L)

We will restart that purification system, after we reconsider the protection against rainwater.
