Tokyo Electric Power Company would like to sincerely apologize for the accident at TEPCO Fukushima Daiichi and Daini Nuclear Power Station which cause difficulties and anxiety to local residents near the power stations and to the public until now.

TEPCO established "Fukushima Revitalization Headquarters" in the premise of "J village" located in Futaba-gun on 1 January 2013 in order to build a structure to respond compensation, decontamination and revitalization comprehensively. Today TEPCO decided on a policy to move "Fukushima Revitalization Headquarters" to "Hamadori Power system office (Tomioka-cho, Futaba-gun)" which is TEPCO's facility by the end of March for now. Based on this policy, TEPCO will continue to coordinate swiftly with all parties concerned regarding details of the relocation.
Regarding the future of "Fukushima Revitalization Headquarter" including another relocation, TEPCO will continue to consider seriously by examining situation of areas near the power stations.

This relocation was announced in New Comprehensive Special Business Plan approved in January 2014. It strengthens a structure to promote revitalization and decontamination  in order to consider residents carefully with moving "Fukushima Revitalization" to within evacuation zone before people who continue to evacuate return to their original home.

TEPCO will continue not to forget suffering of people in Fukushima prefecture. Ensuring to take roots in Fukushima prefecture, TEPCO is determined to complete compensation payments making sure that payment is made to the last person in a tailored manner to situation of people who were hit by the nuclear power station accident. At the same time, TEPCO fulfills its responsibilities for revitalization of Fukushima and contributes to the local area while being closer to the community.
