We would like to announce that our power system overview has been posted on our webpage today.
As mentioned in our "comprehensive special business plan", thermal power source procurement will be done through IPP bid, etc. The transparency and neutrality of power transmission and distribution network will be further enhanced and information on such as system margin will be proactively disclosed. The power system overview has been disclosed in accordance with this policy, and it provides information on the locations of power generation facilities as well as the facilities which may have restrictions in the case of being interconnected with our power system.
Also, based on the "Guidelines for the thermal source bidding" issued by the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy (September 18, 2012), the power system overview was made available in a mapping format for the purpose of facilitating the predictability of power producers who wish to interconnect with our power system.
We will continue our efforts in advancing the "comprehensive special business plan" while fulfilling our responsibility for mid-and-long term secure power supply.
