Answer

As a result of multilayered measures, such as pumping up groundwater and the construction of a frozen soil wall (land-side impermeable wall), etc., implemented to reduce the amount of groundwater and rainwater flowing into reactor buildings, we have reduced the amount of contaminated water being generated from approximately 490m³/day (FY2015) to approximately 60m³/day (FY2025).
