Building and Expanding Charging Infrastructure
TEPCO Holdings’ Area Energy Innovation Office is driving EV adoption, while its group company e-Mobility Power leverages the group’s collective strengths to deliver integrated solutions—advancing both EV deployment and charging infrastructure in tandem.
e-Mobility Power offers a nationwide charging service accessible with a single card, connecting users to public chargers across Japan. Striving for “affordable charging anytime, anywhere for everyone,” the company is enhancing charger output, adding multi-port units, and closing coverage gaps—targeting an expansion to about 13,000 rapid chargers by FY2025, 1.5 times the current scale.
